Friends of Ortley Beach and OBTVA at Christmas Tree

A coastal holiday tradition, the Ortley Beach Shell Tree—hosted by the OBVTA—is filled with hand-decorated seashells created by residents and visitors. The festive tree is on the boardwalk at Fourth Avenue, and you’re welcome to bring your own decorated shell to add to the display until the end of the holiday season.

Don’t have a shell? No worries! There are boxes of pre-drilled blank shells, markers, and zip ties on hand for anyone who wants to add their design to the tree.
